Jude Yacht: A New Charter Favorite
Jude had begun losing ground to newer charter listings. The aging paintwork, worn teak, dated kitchen setup, and older entertainment features reduced its impact in Dubai’s competitive charter market. Our refit focused on increasing Jude’s charter appeal through a restored exterior, upgraded guest-experience, and a complete interior rebuild designed for a luxurious escape at sea and the high-frequency demands of a new charter favorite.
Before the Upgrade
Key materials across Jude had reached the point where a rebuild offered stronger value than repair. The exterior coatings had begun to break down, the antifouling layer had aged out of its protective cycle, and the teak was worn down under long exposure and use.
Outdoors, seating was cramped and compressed, weakening the flybridge’s usefulness during charters. Inside, the kitchen was outdated with similarly old appliances, while Jude’s entertainment system was in dire need of an upgrade. A full rebuild was the most efficient path to make Jude Yacht a charter favorite once more.
The New Jude Yacht
The refit repositioned Jude as a strong charter asset with a distinct identity and an enticing guest experience.
We improved Jude’s profile with fresh paintwork, but the real shift begins when guests step aboard onto the rich and restored teak wood floors. Beyond the new spacious outdoor seating, we sought to modernize Jude’s interiors, bringing together the latest technology and luxury comfort.
The new arrangement feels more open, more practical for crew, and more immersive for guests. This new direction set the groundwork for all the upgrades that shaped Jude’s transformation.
Exterior Transformation
Jude’s exterior was rebuilt to attract attention before guests even step aboard. Fresh paintwork restored depth and gloss across the hull, supported by antifouling to maximize both aesthetics and performance.
The worn down teak wood deck was restored to a flawless finish. We brought back its original rich aesthetic, grip, and durability. Our work here keeps Jude looking its best and primed to withstand heavy use throughout the year.
Flybridge & Deck Experience
On the flybridge, a custom spacious seating layout opens the upper level for easier hosting and larger groups at sea. The new stainless-steel table legs and glossy tabletop anchor the space with a refined and modern aesthetic.
We crafted bespoke outdoor upholstery, bringing the deck together with a unified luxurious tone. A new logo and exterior signage completed the transformation, giving Jude a more commanding presene designed to stand out in any lineup.
Interior Refit
Jude’s interior was rebuilt to feel more spacious and offer maximum comfort. We installed a mirrored ceiling, creating a tone of refinement. We then moved the service kitchen forward, creating more space, and and integrating a host of new appliances.
The entire kitchen was also redesigned to suit the demands of a modern day luxury yacht. With a fully modernised galley and updated finishes throughout the interiors, Jude’s interiors now blend comfort with practicality for the ultimate charter experience.
Custom Features
A host of custom features were integrated to heighten Jude’s interior spaces. Throughout the yacht smart film was installed, providing instant privacy without the need for curtains.
Hidden TV screens fold out from the ceiling creating a clean,futuristic ambiance. Built-in cigar humidor drawers and a floor-mounted wine cooler support curated onboard experiences, while a unified smart system manages lighting, media, and automated features giving crew and guests smoother control over the Jude Yacht.
The Final Outcome
Today, Jude carries a strong appeal for guests and a greater value for its operator. The upgraded exterior draws attention instantly, while the redesigned interior provides a luxurious guest experience.
