Next, Sol’s stainless steel rails, fittings, and deck hardware were polished by hand until reflections came back sharp and consistent. Each surface was worked in stages: cleaning, buffing, and finishing, to restore the brightness that had dulled over years of exposure to salt and sun.
While polished fittings make a great first impression on guests, it also helps protect Sol’s structural integrity. The work restores the protective chromium oxide layer that prevents rust and damage. On charter vessels where fittings endure constant handling and spray, proper maintenance extends lifespan and keeps presentation sharp between service intervals.
DETAILING
Beyond the hull and stainless steel work, Sol received attention across every visible surface. Joins were refined, edges were sealed, and the yacht’s profile was reviewed for consistency. These adjustments don’t announce themselves, but they contribute to the overall impression of a vessel that’s been thoroughly maintained.
Each detail was checked and corrected where needed. The work ensured that Sol’s appearance matched the quality of the hull and exterior restoration—sharp, cohesive, and ready for charter service in Dubai’s competitive market.
PRE-LAUNCH INSPECTION
Before Sol returned to the water, every element of the yacht refit was inspected under direct light. Hull coatings were checked for uniform coverage, stainless steel surfaces were reviewed for finish quality, and protective compounds were tested to confirm seal integrity.
Only after full clearance was Sol approved for launch by our team and returned to charter operations in Dubai. The inspection ensured that the work met the requirements for both performance and presentation before the yacht left the facility
