REFITTING THE JULIA YACHT
BEFORE THE REFIT
Before the refit, Julia was showing her age. Her hull’s surface had roughened and stained from years of charter use. Interior panels had begun to lift, and fittings no longer aligned cleanly. Lounges sagged from wear, and the varnish on her creative woodwork had broken down under heat and moisture.
After a full inspection by expert team, we knew exactly what needed to be stripped back, repaired, and rebuilt.
EXTERIOR OVERHAUL
We started with the hull, removing years of build-up and residue before restoring the surface through sanding and polishing. Once smooth, the hull was coated with a new anti-fouling system to reduce drag and prevent excessive marine growth
DETAILING
After the hull was polished and sealed, our team turned to the finer exterior elements. Stainless steel rails, deck fittings, and trims were cleaned and polished to match the new high-gloss finish. The work brought every visible detail back to life and tied the look of the deck together.
By the end of the preparation stage, Julia carried a consistent finish from bow to stern. Every surface reflected the same level of care applied throughout the restoration.
THE INTERIOR
Inside, the work focused on comfort and function. The lounge and cabin were reupholstered to restore a clean and uniform finish. The woodwork was stripped and refinished by hand to recover its original colour and grain.
The bridge and consoles were updated with mirror-black panels, giving the interior a sharper, more modern look. The result was a space that felt renewed yet still true to Julia’s original character.
THE NEW LOGO
We completed her transformation by installing a new logo for Julia. The design was cut and applied in-house to match her updated finish and colour scheme. It replaced the original decal, giving Julia a sharper, more defined identity.
With the new logo in place, the restoration was complete. Every stage of the refit came together seamlessly, from surface work to final presentation.
READY FOR CHARTER
Julia is now back in service on Dubai’s waters. Her hull has regained its shine, and the interiors feel fresh, balanced, and true to her original spirit.
